I know that many of you know me as Ethan’s dad, but my birth name is Ben Powell. Since our arrival at Memphis (St. Jude Children’s Hospital), life has changed drastically and literally overnight. When we discovered Ethan has Leukemia, everything else took a back seat. I have very little time for much release other than his website and now this blog. I am hoping that this will be a place for me to let go of some feelings that might otherwise be supressed.
I want to be sure to mention… This website is also a personal extension of my faith. I never intend to offend, but I trust that you will take this for what it is… an online journal that I will be able to later look back on and reflect. Rather than “hide my light”, I have chosen to share my life with you.
